Our teacher was called out of the classroom by a student’s parent, insulted, and beaten in the corridor in front of dozens of students and teacher colleagues. This incident broke all of our hearts as educators. It is seen that the violence against educators has become a widespread social issue, rather than isolated incidents. This heinous attack once again highlights the security issue for education employees. We believe that necessary measures need to be taken. We consider any violence directed at teachers and every member of our education family as an attack on the future and existence of our country, and we condemn it.” (DHA)
